Our Mission
Our mission is to be a life-line and resource to women in crisis or transition with emergency funds, books, counseling, and programs to restore their hope, build resilience, strengthen life skills to navigate finances, boundaries, parenting, and personal growth with confidence. We serve women facing grief, caregiving responsibilities, unemployment, financial hardship, single parenting, family disruption, health challenges, domestic abuse, depression, and other life changing circumstances. Many of the women who come to us are doing their best to hold everything together while quietly carrying heavy emotional and financial burdens.
Our support is personal, practical, and compassionate. We provide emotional wellness education, grief support, one on one guidance, community outreach, life skills workshops, and financial assistance for urgent needs.
When funding is available, we help women with emergency expenses such as car repairs, funeral costs, transportation to medical appointments, home utilities, and other unexpected bills that can quickly push a family into crisis. We also provide support to single parents and women who may not have family or other resources to turn to.
Sometimes a woman does not need a long program. She needs help keeping the lights on. She needs transportation to a medical appointment. She needs help repairing the car she depends on to get to work. She needs someone to listen after a loss and help her figure out her next step. That is where Women on the Grow comes in. We believe that when a woman receives the right support at the right time, it can change the direction of her life and strengthen the family and community around her.

Jewel Diamond Taylor, aka The Self-esteem Dr., a keynote speaker, resilience and emotional wellness educator has spent years helping people rebuild their lives by teaching proven tools to build relationships, regulate emotions from trauma, grief, and stress resulting in restored self-worth and productive lives.

When I received the financial blessing from Women on the Grow, it was so much more than monetary relief. Being a single parent is not easy. This support helped during a time when the pressure felt overwhelming. Easing that immediate financial burden gave me the breathing room I desperately needed to regain my stability and step forward. It was a true lifeline, an answer to prayer, and a reminder that I was not walking through my struggles alone.
