My name is Ashaki M. Reed. I am a resident of Chicago, IL. I have been a virtual follower of Jewel Diamond Taylor's, Women On The Grow Organization, for well over 10+ years now. I came to know Mrs. Taylor through the referral of a former Co-worker. My acquaintance with her was during a very critical time in both my professional and personal life.
The challenges experienced during this time adversely affected both my self-esteem and self-confidence, which were refreshingly reconciled through the selfless and sincere, albeit indirect coaching of Mrs. Taylor. Reading the affirmations, listening to the tips, and seeing her posts about her organization, events, and family gave me the encouragement that I needed to "keep the main thing the main thing" when my focus was faulty, flawed, and fickle and to "stay in the light" on those days I was feeling discouraged, distressed and distant.
Fast forward to the last five years, this time in a more direct manner, Mrs. Taylor was able to provide coaching that would serve to encourage me in my role as a Single Parent with 2 young adult sons diagnosed with mental health challenges (anxiety and depression) and a younger son diagnosed with social-emotional developmental delays (autism).
Although thousands of miles away, I have always felt a close connection to Mrs. Taylor as a "safe space" for me to look to and a "peaceful place" for me to land on as both her warm smile and welcoming words of wisdom shine forth with every post. It has been and is a blessing to be a long time recipient of her caring and compassionate ways as well as in seeing her "Women On The Grow" organization glean, grow, and even give back to others.
Praying GOD's CONTINUED BLESSINGS for you, your family and organization.
Kind Regards,
Ms. Ashaki M. Reed, AMRChicago, IL
My name is Dasia Young-Gendrett, and I’m 12 years old. My mother has been a Woman on the Grow since I was born and I've had the opportunity to attend many sessions with her, which has helped me grow in so many ways. Through their conversations, programs, and seeing positive role models, I’ve learned so much about myself and how to be strong.
One of the biggest ways they’ve supported me is by helping me cope with my Type 1 Diabetes (#T1D). It’s not always easy, but with the encouragement and support I’ve gotten, I’ve learned how to be unstoppable and stay motivated, no matter what challenges I face.
Women on the Grow has given me the tools to keep pushing forward and to believe in myself. I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done for me! -

I am a resilient woman on the grow. For 24 years, I have been coached by Jewel Diamond Taylor, attended her retreats and weekly “DiaMIND INNERversity virtual master classes, and I am actively involved with Women on the Grow, the longest I have been dedicated to my self-growth and emotional wellness.
Her coaching and personal development programs have helped me to be a positive mother and role model to my 5 daughters.
After my marriage ended, Women on the Grow supported me through this transformation and continues to uplift my emotional wellness. I embrace my journey with strength, gratitude, peace of mind, and unwavering resilience.

Jewel Diamond Taylor thank you for providing me guidance and unwavering support as I embarked on my journey towards unlocking my potential and living my best life. You helped me uncover my potential within and guided me on my journey towards a happier and more fulfilling life.

I learned of Dr. Jewel Diamond Taylor over 20 years ago when she was quoted in a book written by Iyanla Vanzant. I immediately researched her and was beyond impressed. I have purchased most of her books.
Personally, she has been a trusted mentor to me. Jewel is a prolific author, international speaker, teacher, and counselor. My sorority, and many other Greek organizations, local, state, and federal governmental agencies, churches, and community organizations, have been spellbound by her speeches. Stating that lives have been changed because of assistance received from her nonprofit organization, is an understatement! Her books, events, outreach, retreats, speaking engagements, etc., have literally changed the world - for the better!

Thank you Dr. Jewel for your love and care for women in need. Women on the Grow has significantly impacted my life through its in-person seminars, which have provided invaluable knowledge and inspiration. The newsletter has heightened my awareness of various topics, while the emphasis on self-care has encouraged me to prioritize my well-being. Additionally, the community of Queens has equipped me with the tools to better assist others and make a difference. We are one! Continuous prayers and much love.

The work on myself began AGAIN in 2018. In 2019, my world was shook. My Mother was hospitalized and I reached out to Queen Jewel. She graciously counseled Me through an extremely difficult time in my life.
Then… in 2020 when Jewel's master class "The InnerVersity" was birthed, my healing journey jumped leaps and bounds. I became aware and very Intentional about how I wanted My Life to Be!
New Outlook in Life:
Goal: Weight Loss
267-193 end game 175
Goal: Change Eating Lifestyle
I dared to go back to what works for me… no Animal and no animal by-products.
Goal: I wanted to work differently.
Retired early (16 years of service) from the Banking Industry -taking my skills in the Solar Industry.
I just have to Testify: In 2018, I prayed and asked God to remove the desire to ever consume alcohol again. I am 6 years sober from alcohol to top it all off. Thank God and thank you Women On The Grow InnerVersity… you’ve really made a difference in my life.

"I have grown so much from being a part of Women on the Grow, Inc. 501(c)(3) outreach. I enjoy the positive energy when I am in the presence of my tribe. I have learned so much from the teachings of Jewel Diamond Taylor.
Whenever I get sidetracked...I remember her words "The main thing is to keep the main thing...the main thing" and I become focused again."

" I had no idea when I united with “Women on the Grow,” just how much about myself…my INNER self that I didn’t know!
I had adopted a plethora of tried, true, and comfortable witticisms and points of view that I believed to be true AND shared without reservation to others.
After only a few INNERversity master classes, I realized that what I knew (no matter how worthwhile) was merely surface-based regurgitations and not the DEEP based truths needed to substantiate my views. Wow… did Jewel ever guide me down a path of breaking down my “stuff” and uncovering, revealing, and understanding the TRUE meaning of it all! I’ve grown so much. Things are much clearer. I look forward to our Sister Sundays! Tks Jewel."

“I have been a follower of Jewel since 1998. I have attended the Palm Springs retreats, traveled with the tribe to Hawaii twice, attended most events like the Malibu retreats, and consistently attended the Sunday INNERversity Sessions for the past four years. I have grown tremendously and I am proud to say “my growing is showing in positive ways”. I just love the vibe of my tribe.”
